About Microquest

Microquest is the leading publisher of two families of directories identifying key business people at significant companies. Microquest directories have been the de-facto standard at major national search firms for more than 15 years, and are also used by Fortune 1000 companies for recruiting and sales lead generation.

Our diversity publications track women and minority executives at Fortune 1000 companies. We call this directory "Shattering The Glass Ceiling".

We also track information technology companies, their key executives and gurus. We call this tool "People In High Technology".

Both families of publications are available online and in hardcopy directory and hardcopy report formats.

History

Microquest began as a newsletter in 1989 tracking the electronics technology industry. We began publishing directories in 1991.

Microquest was incorporated in the state of California in February 1994. In 1994 we also began publishing our "Shattering The Glass Ceiling" reports and directories tracking diversity at Fortune companies. 

Digital versions of the technology database were introduced in 1995 with CD-Search: People In High Technology.

The CD version of Shattering The Glass Ceiling was introduced in 2005 to meet the increasing demand for diversity recruiting programs in American business. 

It has been gratifying to see our Glass Ceiling line of publications generate 50% of our business in 2006. 

In 2008 Microquest phased out the CD version of its publications in favor of an online version.

How Long For Delivery?
When we order goods or services, we enjoy receiving delivery quickly. When you order our directories, we ship them that day by UPS 2nd Day or Ground in California (which arrives next day). Monthly reports are shipped by U.S. Post. Online service can be activated immediately.

Can I Get It Immediately?
Clients requiring special services should contact us directly. We will do our best to help you and will email results immediately by Excel spreadsheet attachment.

What Operating Systems Are Supported?
Microquest Online is available through your browser on any computer.

Do You Mainly Track California?
No. Microquest is focused nationally. Our research team considers all data points in the United States and Canada that meet our industry targets.

Can I Export Data?
Perform your search and the application shows the List Page with your results. Simply click on the "Download" icon at the top of the list. Having trouble? Call us any time. (415) 209.6540. We will show you how to export and format the data in Excel.

Can I Import Microquest Data Into Other Applications?
Absolutely. If your applications imports data in Excel (virtually all applications do) then you can import Microquest data.
